Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Trimmer Trainee to join our crew. You will trim and remove trees and branches, operate and service tools and equipment, and load and unload trucks in varying weather conditions.

No experience is required for this entry-level role, but a High School diploma is preferred. You will follow safety rules, assist in training new employees, and help protect the public while performing duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; entry-level position with no prior tree-trimming experience required.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods and in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols and training.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees and branches as directed.
• Operates and services tools and equipment used in trimming work.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper as needed.
• Maintains safe work areas and follows flagging/signaling procedures to protect public.
• Assists in training new employees and adheres to safety policies.
