Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Trimmer Trainee to join our field team. This entry-level role trains on tree trimming, debris removal, and equipment operation to support utility vegetation management.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, wear PPE, and learn to set up traffic control, load materials, and assist in training new staff. A strong safety mindset and ability to travel locally are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Walk, climb, and work from ladders or at various heights in uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.
• No fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and the public.
• Assists in training new employees.
