Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking an entry-level Groundsperson, Tree Care to assist with tree trimming, debris disposal, and basic ground tasks. You will support pruning, removal, and maintenance operations while learning to operate woodchippers, trucks, and blowers with proper PPE and safety protocols.

You will engage in tool use, site management, and clear communication with climbers and crew members, ensuring safe, efficient work in variable outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; no prior experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ground-level tree care operations to support pruning, removal, and maintenance.
• Demonstrate introductory proficiency in safe operation of powered equipment (woodchippers, trucks, blowers).
• Use hand tools (saws, pruners, rakes, shovels) safely to complete tasks.
• Select and use appropriate PPE per safety standards and company protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized work site and manage traffic and work zone safety.
