Shearer Companies is seeking an Entry-Level Transportation Coordinator to join our logistics team. You will help coordinate shipments from pickup to final delivery, build client and carrier relationships, and support scheduling, tracking, and documentation in a dynamic office setting.

Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with a willingness to learn. Training is provided, and occasional travel may be required as part of ongoing operations.

Responsibilities

• Verify inventory availability and coordinate equipment allocation.
• Enter shipment details accurately into company systems.
• Resolve shipping delays, damages, or other transportation issues.
• Review shipping documentation and invoices for accuracy.
• Work with transportation providers to secure competitive rates.
• Manage multiple customer accounts while delivering exceptional service.
• Take ownership of assigned projects from start to finish.
