The role emphasizes roadway design, drainage and traffic studies, and preparation of plans using Civil3D or Bentley OpenRoads Designer, with early exposure to IDOT standards and Federal Aid processes.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman’s service area.
• Ability to independently handle a variety of ongoing tasks and responsibilities.
• Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design Roadway, Underground Utility, and Infrastructure improvements using Civil3D or OpenRoads Designer.
• Conduct drainage, traffic, and various engineering studies.
• Complete general civil engineering services for municipal, county and state clients.
• Prepare engineering plans and specifications using IDOT Standards.
• Process Federal Aid Phase I and II projects for various clients.
• Assist with construction engineering services for municipal, county and state clients.
• Assist project engineers and managers with tasks required for project delivery.
