Qualifications

• Capable of rigorous physical labor.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Capable of lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Basic knowledge of line work materials.
• Capable of identifying primary/secondary voltages on circuits.
• Familiar with PPE inspection and use.
• Capable of installing/removing a service.
• Understand flag and tag procedures.

Responsibilities

• String overhead wire and perform transmission construction tasks.
• Set poles and anchors for line infrastructure.
• Assist with transformers, arrestors, crossarms and switchgear installation.
• Assist in replacing fuses and faulted circuits in transformers.
• Work around energized high voltage systems safely.
• Maintain company vehicles and tools.
• Perform other related duties as required to complete the job.
