Job summary

Pike Corporation in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair energized transmission systems with safety first. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to various job sites and report to the Foreman.

Minimum five years of transmission line experience, CDL, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to travel or work outages, overtime, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of transmission line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at different job locations, including out‑of‑state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de‑energized transmission systems while prioritizing safety.
• Lead crew members in the absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and ground workers.
• Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
