Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Truck Driver Transmission to support construction, maintenance and repair of electrical transmission systems.

The role involves travel to various locations, possibly across state lines, and handling energized/high-voltage tasks with proper safety protocols. The position requires physical endurance, CDL possession, and ability to follow directions and work as part of a team in outdoor, potentially hazardous environments.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work.
• Demonstrates safety awareness and adherence to PPE/lockout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive and assist with transmission construction, maintenance and repair.
• Assist with stringing overhead wire, poles and anchors.
• Support installation and hookup of transformers, insulators and switches.
• Inspect equipment and maintain vehicles/tools for safe operation.
