Job summary

SimVentions seeks an entry-level Systems Engineer to support TTWCS, collaborating with fellow engineers and government personnel on MBSE-informed design, requirements development, and interface updates. You will help shape system architecture and maintain documentation.

The role requires rapid learning, clear communication, and active participation in IPTs and working groups, with weekly travel to Dahlgren and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• MBSE-focused systems engineering experience or coursework.
• Ability to develop requirements and update interfaces with MBSE.
• Experience using modeling tools and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Determine impacts on weapon system, requirements, and design specs during development.
• Review, analyze, and create requirements at multiple levels (SSS, SSDD, SRS, HRS).
• Develop CCPs to engineer new system capabilities and document design details.
• Review, analyze, and develop system architectures using modeling tools (e.g., MagicDraw).
• Provide human factors engineering and UI requirements support.
• Review and adjudicate comments for external interface documents.
• Create CRs and resolve CRs for design/document discrepancies.
• Participate in IPTs, ERBs, DRBs, CRBs and IWG meetings with tasking and status updates.
• Attend weekly team meetings and present technical briefs.
