Job summary

SimVentions is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer to support the TTWCS program. The role involves MBSE-driven system design, requirements development, and IPT participation, with travel to NSWC Dahlgren weekly to biweekly and requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance.

You will work with a diverse team of engineers and government personnel to develop and document system changes, interfaces, and architecture using tools like MagicDraw.

Qualifications

• MBSE experience and ability to apply MBSE methods to engineering tasks.
• Experience with DoD programs or weapon systems is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in IPTs and with government personnel.

Responsibilities

• Determine impacts on weapon system, requirements, and design specifications during development.
• Review and create requirements at multiple levels (SSS, SSDD, SRS, HRS).
• Develop Candidate Change Packages (CCP) for new system capabilities and document impacts.
• Create and analyze system architectures using modeling tools such as MagicDraw.
• Support human factors engineering and UI design specifications (HCI).
• Review external interface documents and adjudicate comments.
• Create change requests (CR) and resolve CRs related to design discrepancies.
• Provide engineering input during IPT meetings and engineering reviews.
