Job summary

SimVentions is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer to support TTWCS. You will work with government personnel and fellow engineers on MBSE-based designs, requirements, and interfaces. Travel weekly to NSWC Dahlgren and operate in a fast-paced IPT environment.

The role requires US citizenship, an active Secret clearance, and strong communication skills. You will develop architectures, review requirements, and contribute to engineering briefs in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

BS degree in engineering or technical field from an accredited institution.
Experience applying MBSE to develop system designs and requirements.
Ability to work with DoD programs or weapon systems on IPTs and in working groups.
Strong communication skills and quick learning ability.

Responsibilities

Determine impacts on weapon system, requirements, and design specs during development.
Review and create requirements at multiple levels (SSS, SSDD, SRS, HRS).
Develop CCPs to engineer new capabilities and document in models.
Review and develop system architectures using modeling tools such as MagicDraw.
Provide human factors engineering and UI requirements support.
Adjudicate comments for external interface documents.
Create change requests and resolve CRs related to design discrepancies.
Engage in IPT meetings and various reviews, documenting results.
Participate in weekly team meetings and communicate summaries in writing.
