SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer to join our team supporting TTWCS. The role involves MBSE-driven design, developing requirements, and updating interfaces and architectures with support from government personnel.

You will work on a diverse team and participate in IPTs, ERBs, DRBs, CRBs, and IWG meetings, traveling weekly to Dahlgren and communicating progress in writing and briefs.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Must be detail oriented and quick to learn.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must be able to work on a diverse team with other contractors and government personnel.

Responsibilities

• Determine impacts on weapon system, requirements, and design specs during development.
• Review, analyze, and create requirements at multiple levels for system capability and functionality.
• Develop Candidate Change Packages (CCP) to engineer new system capabilities and document design details.
• Review and develop system architectures using modeling tools like MagicDraw.
• Provide human factors engineering and analysis for UI requirements and specs.
• Review, analyze and adjudicate comments for external interface documents.
• Create change requests and resolve CRs related to design documentation and system functionality.
• Participate in IPT meetings, ERB/DRB/CRB/IWG with package development and reviews.
• Attend weekly team meetings and communicate tasking and schedule statuses.
• Present technical briefs and defend engineering decisions in meetings.
