Job summary

SimVentions is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer to join our team supporting the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS). You will work with fellow engineers and government personnel to develop system designs and requirements using MBSE methods.

The ideal candidate will have MBSE experience and be able to contribute to working groups, IPTs, and engineering reviews. A Secret clearance is required, and weekly travel to NSWC Dahlgren is expected.

Qualifications

• MBSE methods and tools experience desired.
• Ability to develop requirements and update architectures.
• Experience with modeling tools (Cameo and/or MagicDraw) is preferred.
• Familiarity with Jira and typical MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Determine impacts on weapon system requirements during development.
• Review and create requirements at multiple levels (SSS, SSDD, SRS, HRS).
• Develop CCPs to engineer new system capabilities and document changes.
• Develop architectures using modeling tools and provide interface inputs.
• Participate in IPTs, ERB, DRB, CRB, and IWG with clear documentation.
• Attend weekly meetings and present technical briefs and status updates.
