Job summary

SimVentions is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer to contribute to the TTWCS program. You will work with a team of engineers and government personnel to develop requirements, update architectures, and produce design documentation using MBSE tools.

The role requires DoD-related experience or exposure, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a diverse team. Occasional travel and a focus on system-level integration are expected.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required.
• Detail oriented and quick to learn.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with DoD programs or weapon systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine impacts on weapon system, requirements, and design specifications.
• Review, analyze, and create requirements at multiple levels for weapon system capability and functionality.
• Develop Candidate Change Packages (CCP) and document design details in models and docs.
• Review architectures using modeling tools like MagicDraw.
• Support human factors engineering and UI design specifications (HCI).
• Review external interface documents and adjudicate comments.
• Create and resolve Change Requests (CRs).
• Participate in IPT meetings, ERB, DRB, CRB, and IWG with updates and tasking.
• Attend weekly team meetings and communicate summaries in writing.
• Present technical briefs and defend engineering and design decisions.
