Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a maintenance technician for utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor plant operation via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of AC/DC solar systems, including inverters and metering equipment.

Requirements include 2+ years in a related role or journeyman certification, high school diploma, and electrical certifications a plus. Travel may be required; a strong safety mindset and CMMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

Requires knowledge of electrical safety and arc flash standards.
Requires ability to follow operating, switching, maintenance, safety and environmental procedures.
Strong safety background with Lockout-Tag-Out and Job Hazard Analysis experience.
Knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
Ability to read electrical schematics and prints.
Experience with maintenance tracking in CMMS.
Proficient in Windows/Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

Perform quarterly KPI-related maintenance to improve energy generation and plant efficiency.
Promote a safe work environment and enforce company procedures.
Ensure personal safety, quality, and schedule adherence in maintenance tasks.
Comply with safety procedures (JHA, LOTO).
Assist in planning and executing on-site projects, installations, commissioning, and testing.
Ensure completeness of work orders and documentation.
