Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a qualified technician for full-time on-site work at a utility-scale PV power plant in Fort Gaines, GA. The role focuses on maintenance and operation of solar assets, including SCADA monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance on AC/DC systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Utility Solar O&M, strong electrical knowledge, experience with CMMS, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Utility Solar Operations & Maintenance.
• Experience in operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls systems operation, troubleshooting advanced electrical components, and using procedures to perform equipment preventative and corrective maintenance preferred.
• Prior Supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA.
• Commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC and DC solar PV systems, including inverters, PV module arrays, transformers, switchgear, and metering systems.
• Lead work groups and supervise plant evolutions.
• Travel will be required depending on the needs of the Company.
• Ensure safety and adherence to environmental and company procedures.
