Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a skilled technician for maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV plants in Fort Gaines, GA. You will monitor SCADA, assist in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, and uphold strict safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements include 3+ years in solar O&M, experience with SCADA and high/medium voltage equipment, and a strong safety mindset. Travel may be required; competitive benefits follow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Utility Solar Operations & Maintenance.
• Experience with electrical systems, SCADA, controls, and preventative maintenance.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation via SCADA and perform commissioning, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting.
• Repair and modify AC/DC solar PV systems, including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and metering.
• Ensure safety by following lockout/tagout and other environmental procedures.
• Coordinate on-site planning, installations, and performance testing.
• Maintain documentation and reports, and train personnel on safety and procedures.
