RRD is seeking an entry-level Associate - Sales in Des Moines, IA, part of a comprehensive four-month Associate Development Program designed to prepare you as a Sales Associate. The February 2027 cohort in Des Moines is currently hiring.

You will learn sales strategies, practices, and industry knowledge to ensure a successful career in sales. Shadowing, prospecting, and relationship-building are core components of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred in sales, marketing, business, communications, packaging, economics, or related field.
• Excellent listening skills to understand customer needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform RRD's sales steps through training and observation.
• Learn and execute prospecting and cold calling to build new accounts.
• Shadow sales representatives and assist in sourcing, securing and managing business.
• Attend internal and external sales meetings.
• Maintain relationships with existing accounts and customers.
• Build a sales funnel for the post-training assignment.
• Continue development through marketing and sales publications to improve industry knowledge.
• Perform related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
