Job summary

Atmos Energy Corporation in Dallas, TX seeks an entry-level Right of Way (ROW) Specialist to conduct document reviews and support procurement of ROW authorizations. You will assist in coordinating between Engineering and Operations and help resolve landowner issues while sustaining land rights documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and basic math and computer skills. Some travel may be required as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in right of way or natural gas preferred.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers to obtain basic factual information.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Working knowledge of business computer applications to create standardized documents or reports.
• Office environment with occasional travel and physical activities.

Responsibilities

• Review and retrieve easements, leases, licenses, permits, contracts and related ROW documents under supervision.
• Coordinate activities between Engineering and Operations.
• Research ownership and land rights to procure ROW authorization.
• Support ROW staff in resolving landowner disputes and complaints.
• Sustain land rights documentation and oversee third party contractors for landowner notifications.
• Provide updates to ROW Leadership on project status and compliance.
• Complete entry-level file maintenance tasks.
• Review development plans for potential Encroachment Agreements and easements actions.
• Assist with contract ROW support for entry-level field projects and resolve landowner issues.
• Assist with preparation and review of right of way documents and permit applications.
