KETTLER currently has an opening for an entry level Maintenance Assistant at Palmetto Grove, located in North Charleston, SC. If you have a good work ethic, a passion for helping people, and want an opportunity to learn and grow, KETTLER is the place for you.

The Maintenance Assistant, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, is responsible for general maintenance, repairs in apartments and buildings, and responding to service requests of residents.

Qualifications

• EPA/CFC Type I & II certifications preferred - Must obtain within 180 days from date of hire.
• Basic knowledge of appliance, electrical, and plumbing repair.
• Valid Driver’s License and must live within 30 minutes of the property.
• Strong customer service focus and timely responses.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple residential service requests daily.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair and escalate when needed.
• Participate in maintenance projects and prepare vacant units for market ready status.
• Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs to property grounds, apartments and exteriors.
• Demonstrate respectful customer service and complete work orders with urgency.
