Job summary

KETTLER is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support residential properties with focus on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs. This hands-on role requires timely service, strong communication with residents, and the ability to troubleshoot and restore systems efficiently.

Under the Maintenance Manager, you will perform preventive maintenance, prepare market-ready vacant units, handle after-hours on-call duties, and participate in ongoing projects across the property portfolio.

Qualifications

• 1 year of apartment/hotel/facilities maintenance experience.
• HVAC, appliance, electrical, and plumbing repair knowledge.
• Valid driver's license and residence within 30 minutes of property.
• Excellent customer service and timely response to residents.
• On-call availability including nights and weekends on a rotate.
• Must have reliable transportation and a cell phone.
• Proficiency with basic computer use and communication skills.
• Able to walk grounds, climb stairs, lift 60 lbs., and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple residential service requests daily.
• Respond to maintenance requests within HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair; escalate when needed.
• Participate in all maintenance projects.
• Prepare vacant units for market-ready status through turnover repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all systems.
• Repair property grounds, apartments, and exteriors.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing questions and concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
