Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field.
• Combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Master's degree preferred in biology-related field.
• Experience with immunoassays.
• Experience with sterile techniques and laboratory safety.
• Experience with human subject research trials and IRB protocols.
• Bilingual, Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments and analysis in an on-site laboratory.
• Process and analyze human samples; prepare reagents and storage of samples.
• Recruit, screen and consent research subjects; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain meticulous record-keeping of experiments and study visits.
• Data entry and data analysis of study results.
• Assist with manuscript preparation and project development.
• Support laboratory upkeep and ordering.
