Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field.
• A combination of education and related technical experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Master's degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field.
• Prior experience with laboratory techniques including immunoassays.
• Experience with human subject research trials and IRB protocols.
• Bilingual, Spanish preferred.

Aufgaben

• This laboratory science professional will perform duties in an experimental lab, including handling of human biological specimens.
• Preparation of lab reagents.
• Processing of patient samples for analysis and/or storage.
• Conduct immunoassays, colorimetric and basic lab assays.
• Data collection and analysis.
• Screen, recruit and consent research subjects per approved protocols.
• Manage participant tracking and follow-up visits.
• Assistance with laboratory upkeep & maintenance including ordering.
• Maintain study specific certifications, human subject protection training, computer training and other hospital required training.
• Assisting with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
• Contribute to project development and manuscript preparation.
• Perform other research-related duties as assigned.
