Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Patient AccessScheduler to manage patient appointments across diagnostic, surgical, therapy, and physician visits. You will verify demographics and insurance information, register patients, and enter data into our scheduling system in a fast-paced call-center setting.

Preferred qualifications include a High School diploma, completion of Patient Access training, and bilingual abilities. EOE, including disability/vets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Complete and pass Patient Access training.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments (diagnostic, surgical, therapy, physician visits) and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Register patients and enter data into scheduling and EMR systems.
• Work in a fast-paced call-center environment and meet quality metrics.
