Job summary

Proven IT is seeking an entry-level Recruiter to support hiring and onboarding. You will identify prospects, engage candidates, and guide them through the process with coaching from HR and managers.

The role emphasizes initiative, relationship-building, and ownership as you learn Proven IT's sourcing practices. You will perform screenings, coordinate interviews, manage candidate records, and assist with pre-employment activities, including background checks and onboarding communications.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of recruiting or related experience welcomed; internships considered.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field helpful but not required.
• Engaging, personable, and able to start conversations with diverse personalities.
• Tenacious, self-motivated, and able to stay persistent with outreach.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and social media.
• Screen applications by phone or video, creating a welcoming first impression.
• Build rapport, keep candidates engaged, and follow up through the interview process.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams and share updates promptly.
• Post and refresh job openings and assist with job description updates.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and reporting tools.
• Support pre-employment activities including offers, onboarding, and screenings.
• Develop pipelines by re-engaging candidates and persistent outreach.
• Assist with new-hire check-ins, recruiting reports, and HR events.
• Learn Proven IT's processes and sourcing best practices through coaching.
