The RMR Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to help maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of community grounds and common areas. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in groundskeeping, preventative maintenance, and routine property repairs under supervision.

The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and committed to delivering exceptional service to residents while supporting the maintenance team and property standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to learn basic residential maintenance skills.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community grounds and common areas.
• Assist with routine preventive maintenance projects and basic repairs.
• Help with apartment make-ready activities including cleaning, trash removal, and minor repairs.
• Move heavy appliances and equipment as needed and assist with larger repair projects.
• Respond to service requests and maintenance emergencies under supervision.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
