Job summary

The RMR Group is seeking a Groundskeeper in Jacksonville, FL to keep property exteriors and common areas clean and safe. You will assist with maintenance, manage grounds equipment, and support unit turnover for new residents.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience. Candidates must be organized, able to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related on-the-job experience or training.
• Must be well organized and a self-starter.
• Perform general maintenance repair tasks professionally without endangering yourself, residents or fellow associates.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Must be team oriented and a problem solver.
• Maintain professional appearance and manner at all times.
• May be required to work extended periods during priority or emergency situations.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs; climb ladders; operate ladders and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintains property grounds of community.
• Picks up litter on grounds.
• Maintains interior hallways and stairwells.
• Maintains watering and drainage systems.
• Assists in inventory control and upkeep of grounds equipment and supplies.
• Assists with emergency maintenance and on-call duties.
• Cleans hallways, common areas, and laundry center.
• Cleans parking areas, sidewalks and alleyways.
• Assists with unit turnover for new residents.
