Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support construction and field execution for projects, applying fundamentals, standards, and tools. You will assist in general construction management, punch lists, and self-perform work while aligning with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration with the project team, documenting progress, and supporting procurement and reporting activities to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• Entry level construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates in QA/QC planning to ensure quality for tasks.
• Assists with estimating and change management, including quantity take-off and subcontractor proposals.
• Works on site with project team to support tasks like monitoring crew size and materials.
• Participates in punch lists, inspections, safety reviews, and documentation preparation.
• Prepares and disseminates project documentation and meetings; tracks reports and schedules.
