Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in the United States is seeking a Project Engineer who will support construction and field execution on projects, applying fundamentals, standards and company tools to understand the building process and drive project success.

You will work on-site with the project team, assist in safety and QA/QC, procurement, reporting, and coordination across trades. A bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering and entry-level experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Learn and actively participate in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participate in QA/QC planning to ensure task quality.
• Assist estimating and change management, including quantity take-off and review of subcontractor proposals.
• Work on site with project team to monitor crew size, hours, materials and equipment.
• Participate in punch lists, city inspections, safety and quality reviews, and documentation.
• Post drawings and specifications with most recent information; organize meetings and prepare reports.
