Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to support construction and field execution across projects. You will gain hands-on experience in general construction management, punch lists, and self-perform work to understand building processes and how JE Dunn delivers projects.

In this role you will participate in QA/QC planning, estimating, procurement logistics, and daily reporting while collaborating with foremen, superintendents, subcontractors, and the project team.

Qualifications

• Entry level construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Supports general on-site construction management tasks.
• Assists with QA/QC planning and documentation.
• Helps with estimating, quantity take-offs, and subcontractor coordination.
• Monitors on-site activities: manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Maintains drawings, specs, and project documentation.
• Participates in safety reviews and project meetings.
