Job summary

Performance Contracting in Anaheim, CA is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer to join the PCI Los Angeles 557 operations. This role serves as a launching pad for future leaders, offering hands-on experience in project management and estimating within an employee-owned organization.

The position is safety-sensitive; a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction mgmt/engineering or comparable experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Team-oriented with initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel/relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conducting safety meetings
• Creating and managing punch lists
• Supporting the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI's QA/QC program
• Preparing RFI's and submittals
• Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
• Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
• Supporting the implementation of the job schedule
• Coordinating warranties and O&M's
• Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing
