Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as the technical source of information for the project, with knowledge of construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders. You will respond to questions about drawings and change orders, and may assist with supervising Field Engineers.

Qualifications

• Requires four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to supervise and train Field Engineer positions.

Responsibilities

• Understands the project management plan and change management process to ensure project execution.
• Develops a procurement schedule and integrates with the CPM schedule; coordinates submittals.
• Administers budgeting and cost control to keep the project within approved budget.
• Maintains as-built contract documents; compiles close-out requirements (manuals, warranties).
• Participates in form design and takeoffs for concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utilities.
