Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as the technical information hub for projects, with a deep understanding of construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders. You will respond to questions about drawings, shop drawings, and change orders while maintaining professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

The role includes three progression steps, with entry level at Step I.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering concepts and industry practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise and train field staff and coordinate multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand project management plans and change management processes to ensure successful execution.
• Develop procurement schedules and coordinate submittals with trades.
• Manage budgets, cost control, and documentation to stay within approved budgets.
• Maintain As-built documents, close-out requirements, and logs for project records.
• Assist with form design, takeoffs, and quantity reporting; support field engineers.
