Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking an entry-level to senior-project-track Project Engineer to support the project team with technical information, drawings, specifications, submittals, and change orders. The role emphasizes communication with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, and includes progression through three steps (I, II, Senior) to grow skills and experience.

The candidate will assist in budget forecasting, RFI responses, and maintaining project records while supporting safety

Qualifications

• Entry-level position normally requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to interface and communicate with others is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and reviewing submittals, change orders, RFIs, and budgets.
• Support project management plan execution and change management processes.
• Assist in administration of the project quality management plan and reinforce safety culture.
• Possibly help calculate daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work; assist in budgeting and cost control.
• Support superintendents to resolve field problems and coordinate with subcontractors and designers.
