JE Dunn Construction Company seeks a New Grad Project Engineer I to support on-site construction activities, learn fundamentals of project management, and assist with daily reporting, punch lists, and self-perform work under supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration with foremen, subcontractors, and project teams, with opportunities to grow into the Project Engineer 2 level as skills mature.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
• Communication skills, verbal and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of Lean process and philosophy.
• Knowledge of required construction technology.
• Knowledge of self-perform and labor productivity.
• Knowledge of organizational structure and available resources.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in all aspects of safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates in QA/QC planning to ensure quality for tasks.
• Assists with estimating and change management processes and tools.
• Works on site with project team to support tasks.
• Participates in punch lists, inspections, safety reviews, and documentation.
