Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a New Grad Project Engineer to support on-site construction activities and learning the full project lifecycle. You will assist with safety, QA/QC, estimating, and documentation while collaborating with foremen, journeymen and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes development into Project Engineer 2, with exposure to punch lists, inspections, and progress reporting, aligned with JE Dunn’s values and growth culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to participate in safety and quality planning and support project QA/QC.
• Strong communication, verbal and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project coordination tasks.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Support project QA/QC planning and documentation.
• Assist with estimating, change management, take-off and subcontractor proposals.
• Work on site with project team to monitor resources and progress.
• Prepare and disseminate meeting notes and reports.
• Assist in procurement logs and schedule updates.
