Job summary

Performance Contracting Group seeks an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Dallas operations in Midlothian, TX. This role provides hands-on experience in project management and estimating, serving as a launchpad for future leaders within PCI.

The role involves safety meetings, takeoffs, RFIs, submittals, and coordination with procurement and scheduling. A bachelor's degree in CM/CE/CS or related experience is required; travel and visa sponsorship are considered on a case-by-case

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conducting safety meetings
• Creating and managing punch lists
• Supporting QA/QC measures in PCI's program
• Preparing RFIs and submittals
• Labor control on projects, including setup and maintenance
• Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
• Supporting job schedule implementation
• Coordinating warranties and O&M's
• Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing
