Job summary

Performance Contracting Group in Des Moines, IA is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer to join PCI Des Moines 587 operations. This role provides hands-on experience in project management, estimating, safety, and career growth within an employee-owned company.

You will support field teams, prepare RFIs and submittals, manage punch lists, and assist with scheduling and QA/QC processes. This safety-sensitive position offers competitive pay and a path to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/CE/CS or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork required.
• Ability to learn and apply new skills on the job.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety meetings and participate in QA/QC.
• Support takeoffs, RFIs, submittals, and scheduling.
• Manage punch lists and warranties/OMs coordination.
• Assist with material coordination and invoicing.
• Labor control on projects and margin of safety.
