Qualifications

• Required high school degree or GED.
• Associates degree preferred depending on client project needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in non-engineering science, math, or business may be required in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Learn, practice, and promote safety policies and procedures 100% of the time.
• Apply various codes, requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures to assigned work.
• Develop skills to safely make job-site visits and interact with construction personnel.
• Develop and demonstrate ability to use design software and work management tools used by the company and clients.
• Prepare project and job packages with material lists, requisitions, labor estimates, site drawings, and construction drawings.
• Evaluate loading on distribution equipment such as transformers and fusing.
• Learn utility construction practices on public ROW and private land.
• Communicate job status to meet client expectations and deliverables.
• Build relationships with internal/external customers supporting business goals.
• Maintain files and records in an organized manner.
• Mentor under experienced personnel including PE.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education

High school diploma or GED

AA/Associates degree preferred

Bachelor’s degree in non-engineering science, math, or business preferred
