Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking an entry-level Engineering Technologist to apply technical skills to evaluate options and design safe, cost-effective facilities for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will learn client workflows, perform data entry, and gain proficiency in design software and work management tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Preferred Bachelor’s in non-engineering science, math, or business.
• 0-1 year experience in power distribution engineering, craft, or GIS/CAD.

Responsibilities

• Learn and promote safety policies 100% of the time.
• Apply codes, requirements, and procedures to assigned work.
• Safely perform job-site visits and interact with construction personnel.
• Prepare project packages with materials lists, labor estimates, and drawings.
• Communicate job status to meet client expectations and deadlines.
• Mentor under experienced personnel and PE.
