Job summary

Pike Corporation seeks an entry-level engineer to support our Engineering team in power distribution projects. This role blends office and field work, emphasizing safe, reliable, and cost-effective design solutions while learning client workflows and data entry procedures.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in power distribution or GIS/CAD-related tasks, with a high school diploma or GED and willingness to learn under engineers and mentors. On-site attendance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some client projects may require additional technical training.
• 0–2 years of experience in power distribution engineering, electrical craft work, or GIS/CAD-related work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of complete project and job packages, including drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions.
• Prepare project packages using company and client design software and work management tools.
• Provide regular project status updates and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
• Participate in storm restoration activities as needed.
• Learn and apply company workflows, data entry procedures, and safety standards.
