Job summary

Pike Corporation seeks an entry-level Engineering Support role to assist our Engineering team. The position combines office and field work, applying technical skills to design safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for power distribution projects.

You will learn to use design tools, follow client workflows, enter data accurately, and build foundational project knowledge under supervision. Regular on-site work supports field activities and storm restoration as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree may be required for some client projects.
• 0-2 years of experience in power distribution engineering, electrical craft work, or GIS/CAD-related work.
• Willingness to learn design tools and follow client workflows and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of complete project and job packages, including drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions.
• Prepare project packages and maintain documentation using required design software and work management tools.
• Provide regular project status updates and collaborate with internal and external partners to meet timelines and objectives.
• Support storm restoration activities as needed.
