Job summary

BioLife Plasma is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist in Salisbury, MD. Shifts are 4–6 hours/day, 3+ days/week, with paid interactive training to start. You will be a frontline donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

Responsibilities include greeting donors, venipuncture, monitoring during donation, operating plasmapheresis equipment, data entry, and assisting with center process improvements. The role emphasizes reliability and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work availability.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, occasionally up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, hearing equipment from distance.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens requires glove wear.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies, break down cartons, and assist with disposal.
