Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Kansas City, MO is seeking an entry-level phlebotomist with paid training. You will screen donors, perform phlebotomy, and support center operations while prioritizing donor safety and data accuracy.

Responsibilities include donor screening, vital signs collection, maintaining donor charts in the information system, and assisting with donor compensation. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, able to stand for shifts.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift between 5 and 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer- or patient-facing role helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and maintain records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and identify process improvements.
• Support donors across varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
