The position requires 1–2 years of power line experience, strong communication, and the ability to work long hours, overtime, and travel for storm response.

Qualifications

• Experience with energized high voltage systems.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install transformers, arrestors, insulators, and switches.
• Set poles and string overhead wires.
• Troubleshoot faults in primary and secondary systems.
• Replace cutout fuses and clear faulted circuits.
• Communicate work to property owners and supervisors.
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment for safety and readiness.
• Follow company safety standards for energized lines.
• Report hazards to foreman and comply with policies.
