Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in North Carolina is seeking an entry-level Class C Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to job sites as needed, and report to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include performing new construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead systems, climbing structures, and working at heights. You may operate bucket trucks and related equipment; safety PPE and live-line techniques are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant field experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Climb structures and work at heights.
• Operate and maintain overhead line equipment.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
