Job summary

True North Group in Lancaster, TX is seeking an Entry-Level Sales Representative to build relationships with local businesses and assess employee benefit needs, offering supplemental insurance plans.

You’ll work in a territory with flexible scheduling, receiving training and ongoing support, while developing a client base and learning the ins and outs of the sales process. No prior insurance experience required, with licensing help provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree or customer service experience a plus.
• Willingness to obtain Health & Life license within 90 days.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Comfortable using basic digital tools (email, calendar, CRM).

Responsibilities

• Visit businesses and introduce supplemental insurance offerings.
• Meet with owners and present to groups of employees.
• Respond to client questions by phone and email.
• Set appointments, follow up, and support clients through claims.
• Use Salesforce CRM to track activities and progress.
• Work with manager to set and meet sales goals.
• Build own client base and develop long-term relationships.
• Share weekly schedule and results with manager.
