Job description

As a Mason Market Development Specialist, you’ll be responsible for enrolling new customers and expanding business by showcasing Mason’s web capabilities, catalogs, flyers, and product range.

Responsibilities

1. Travel throughout assigned marketplaces to call on prospective customers and develop clientele.
2. Distribute marketing materials to current and prospective clients.
3. Display or demonstrate merchandise to enhance customers’ product knowledge.
4. Quote and provide contracted pricing as necessary.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with new customers to ensure satisfaction during onboarding.
6. Collaborate with Inside Sales specialists to convert sales leads.
7. Set up accounts via MasonvilleGO to ensure customer success.
8. Transition accounts smoothly to the account management team.
9. Maintain working relationships with Inside Sales, customers, and distribution staff.
10. Attend weekly Branch Sales Meetings.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (BS or BA) from a four-year college is preferred but not required.
