Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $89,000.00/yr

Position Overview

As a territory-based sales representative, you'll engage directly with small and medium-sized businesses across various sectors. Your primary goal will be to introduce top-tier supplemental insurance solutions to business owners and their employees. The role involves both one-on-one discussions with decision-makers and group presentations to audiences of 50-100 or more, providing a dynamic environment for growth.

Core Responsibilities
  • Use our customized Salesforce CRM to generate leads, build your network, and expand your client base within your territory and neighboring communities.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or text.
  • Schedule meetings to understand clients' insurance needs.
  • Attend scheduled calls and meetings with your sales manager and team.
  • Visit new businesses, develop relationships, follow up on leads, and re-service existing clients.
  • Build and maintain your client portfolio.
  • Work with your sales manager to set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Plan your weekly schedule, adhere to it, and submit it for approval.
  • Record daily work stats and sales activities.
Additional Qualifications
  • Pass a high-level pre-employment background check.
  • Active Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Active Health & Life Insurance Producer license or willingness to obtain one (study course provided, licensing fees reimbursed).
  • Bachelor's degree or minimum 4 years of post-high school work experience; candidates near degree completion or with relevant sales or athletic background will be considered.
