Job summary

Heritage Auctions is seeking an entry-level Operations Coordinator for our Florida regional office to support daily consignments, packing, shipping, receiving, and data entry of property for cataloging.

The role requires a detail-oriented mind, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional overtime. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, and two years of logistics/shipping experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of operations or shipping experience; auction experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of logistics.

Responsibilities

• Process consignments and shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Support Consignment Directors throughout the consignments process.
• Communicate with clients during consignments and provide updates.
• Research status of consignments and maintain records.
• Pack and ship consignments with care, handling fragile items.
• May lift up to 50 pounds and assist with loading/unloading items.
• Comply with security requirements and office procedures.
• Assist with events and logistics such as previews and catering.
• Handle general art handling and maintain display spaces.
• Perform inventories of consignments.
